Childrens Benadryl

Hi everyone! Wanted to test the benadryl out before the 20 hours of plan rides home and I am of course afraid to test it out on him LOL...it says on the box not to give to children 2-6 yrs old unless directed by doctor...would it be okay to give him a half or quarter of a tablet? I don't want to give him a whole one cause it may be too much..
I'll be so happy when this zpac kicks in..i'm tired of coughing and having a sore throat!!
love you all..XOXOXOXO

  2. They do have it in liquid form for children. It may still say not to give it to children the age of two but it should be fine as long as you know that he's not allergic to certain medications. Just lower the dosage some.

  3. I suggest you ask one of the pharmacists their in China and see what they recommend. I did call Dr. Yangs office to ask them and of course they cannot tell me by law b/c they have not seen him. I would think you can give him 1/2 the dosage it recommends for the 6 yrs and up. But to be safe, ask a Dr. or pharmacist their and tell them he is 24 lbs and how much dosage can you give him. Good luck. Miss you!!
